With the heater incorporated into the Dimplex CDFI-BX1500 frame, you can increase the functionality of your CDFI-1500P Optimyst cassette. The Dimplex CDFI-BX1500 frame is designed for one-sided or two-sided see-through installations. Dimplex CDFI-1500P is sold separately. These work really well, but would be nice if they wouldn’t roll them so tightly for shipping, as it takes quite a while for the strips to stop curling. Other than that, was better than putting black duct tape over the vents (as the previous owner of the condo did).

I love this product. It’s was easy to install and the lack of drafts from fireplace were immediately noticeable. Storage during warmer months is easy by rolling up or adhering to a discreet area like basement metal door.

This is one of those products that seems so obvious, but I didn't realize that I needed it. One night during a below zero cold snap, I walked by the fireplace and felt the cold air sinking in via the chimney. I ordered this draft stopper right away and am pleased with how effective it is. It also blends into the fireplace nicely.

We needed to find something that would fit in an existing fireplace. This was the closest we could find. Had to make a few adjustments to the opening, but it looks like it belongs there now! Heat output was better than we thought (after reading some reviews), and the flames are real enough.

Just trim and stick! Easy to trim to fit any situation. Blends right in, forgot it was even there. Solved not only drafts coming in, but the big BOOM we often get on windy days with our direct vent fireplace. My big baby of a dog is most happy!
