This product was very easy to assemble, probably 3 thirty minutes. Solid wood and well constructed. Flames are very realistic and the unit itself produces a great additional heat source. We placed ours in our basement and it accents the decor very well. We'd recommend this product.

Looks really good!! assembly is straightforward and everything is clearly labeled. there does need to be a way to secure the insert. it just sort of sits there. Also, it would be good if it had a flat style plug so you could push it closer to the wall

This is a great fireplace and produces a lot of heat. Remote is an added bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Everything went together very easy and fast only about 20 screws all the same size very self explanatory.The fire box works perfectly highly recommended !!!!

I have been on the lookout for over a year to find the perfect electric fireplace. I was very specific in my search, it had to be tall and wide enough to look like a real fireplace, the flame had to look real, and it could not look like a tv stand or cheap. When I saw this one, I originally wanted the brown one as I thought that it would match my existing furniture, but they were out. I ordered the black one. I can truly say that I ordered this with extremely high expectations, as mentioned I had been searching for over a year. And I have not regretted my purchase one single day since my husband put it together. It is beautiful. I I get cold easily and it heats my living room up to perfection. I have only had to use the 71 degree setting thus far. It actually causes the rest of the house to be a little chilly because it keeps the thermostat down the hall from kicking the heat on, so I was shocked to read the review about it not heating well. But again, there space may be bigger than mine. My living room is approx.. 300 sq. ft. The flames are also beautiful and I love the different options for colors. I do have a favorite which is the last setting that uses all the colors together. I highly recommend this product. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a realistic fireplace look and feel without hooking up gas or burning wood. If you are needing an electric fireplace to heat your home, I am not sure this is the best option for you as I have not used it in that capacity. But definitely the right warmth for one room. And the only negative thing I have to say about my unit, is spring will be here soon and I will miss it terribly when the weather is too warm to use it. I hope this helps with your own decision.

Looks great. Easy to put together. Haven't used it in the room we will permanently have it in so not sure about how it heats yet. The flames look less fake when on the lower settings. It's a great product so far I love it
