We removed a woodburning fireplace that took up so much of my livingroom and replaced it with a homemade oak mantel and surround.We inserted the Dimplex unit and really love the look of it.The flame and light are very nice.As realistic as an electric can be.I would recommend this product for anyone looking for an electric unit

Very easy to use. Looks very real. The fan is a bit loud but you get used to it.

We have a small family room that is always cold. We thought this fireplace would keep it toasty warm - not so. Takes a long time to reach any level of comfort. Thank goodness we have a ceiling fan, and find that helps to circulate some warm air.

This is one item I ordered of late that meets all my expectations....The heat option is perfect, if you choose to use it. It looks so real that visitors just assume it is real. It was so easy to install...took it out of the box and stuck it in the fireplace where my gas logs had been in about an hour. Completely self contained and no assembly required. I highly recommend it if you are tired of messing with wood and or gas logs. You can enjoy this fireplace all year around.

The picture shows brick images on the back. There are images of bricks on the side walls, the back is just a mirror. But it still a good fireplace.

We purchased this Dimplex firebox and the oak mantel individually. We didn't like the cheaper firebox that Dimplex had switched to. The DF3015 is very attractive, although I have seen more realistic looking flames. Don't buy it for the heat. There isn't much there. Shipping from Wood Majestic was very fast, and when I had a small problem with the trucking company, Wood Majestic customer service took care of it right away. I would have given it 5 stars if it didn't seem overpriced.

We are very pleased with the fireplace insert and the service by Electric Fireplaces Canada. This is the 2nd DF3015 insert we've had. It is used mainly as heat when the house furnace is not needed - rainy days , cooler spring and autumn days, and evenings when we just need to take the chill off. It is a lovely looking unit, very cozy and warm. The service from the dealer was excellent - the unit was shipped and delivered exactly as we were advised .
