The overall effect is truly remarkable and life-like, so much so, that more often than not, people will assume it is a real burning fire. The media tray allows you to fill it with whatever items you prefer - sticks, stones, glass, the choices are almost endless (Not included). This fireplace is designed for built-in installations using hard-wired connectivity. So you may need the assistance of a skilled electrician when installing. Unique to this firebox is the removable back panel which instantly transforms the firebox from a 1-sided to 2-sided installation. This see-through option is a wonderful way to give more than one room the added appeal and allure of a spectacular fireplace. *Note: The Rear Glass Panel accessory must be purchased for see-thru installations.

Adding to the allure of this firebox, the Opti-myst Pro 1000 also features an integrated sound system that adds the gentle crackling sound of a real burning fire to its stunning visual. This adds yet another level of believably to the unit. A powerful, fan-forced heater is also a part of this fireplace and is capable of producing 5,118 BTUs to heat areas up to 400 Sq. Ft. in size. For your convenience, a remote control is included and operates the flames, heater, and sound with the simple press of a button.
